Bob’s pedagogical and technical knowledge from almost two decades in higher education informs a collaborative relationship with faculty today. His areas of focus include UDL (Universal Design for Learning), Open Pedagogy & OER (Open Educational Resources), as well as Mobile Learning Technologies. Years of teaching in Higher Education have also bolstered an understanding of the classroom environment. As an Instructional Design Consultant in Higher Education, prior to Rollins, Bob values the appropriate use of technology to support active learning strategies and outcome-based pedagogies. He received his undergraduate degree from California State University–Northridge in Radio/TV-Film, with an emphasis in Multimedia Management, and a graduate degree in Instructional and Performance Technology from Boise State University. When not talking about himself in the third person, he enjoys spending time with loved ones, coaching his daughter’s teams, going on guided fishing tours, and relaxing with family bingeing the latest shows.
